Paalappam- using Rice Flour

  Paalappam Appam is a type of pancake prepared with fermented rice batter and coconut milk. “ Paalappam “ this dish has a lace border.It is prepared using the small special curved shape pan. We call it as appachatti in malayalam. It’s a main part of kerala Christians cuisine.   I t is eaten mostly for breakfast or dinner. Appam is traditionally served with fish molee (seafood stew), stew(spiced stew of potatoes and coconut milk).It is one of the healthy and tasty dish .. Let’s go to the recipe,here I have used Rice four (roasted)to prepare the dough along with semolina. Ingredients   Appam vessel Oil Coconut Milk 2 ½ cups Yeast 1 tsp Water 1 cup Semolina – ½ cup Salt  as required Rice Flour -250 gms   Method First dissolve sugar and yeast in water ( ½ cup ).The water should be warm .
